We published a nice review paper approximately 1 year ago in Pharmaceutics, "Increased/Targeted Brain (Pro)Drug Delivery via Utilization of Solute Carriers (SLCs)" in a Special Issue called "Advanced Blood-Brain Barrier Drug Delivery" edited by Prof. William M. Pardridge. Based on the recommendations by the scientific editors of MDPI journals from around the world, this article was selected as one of the Editor’s Choice articles!!! Editors select a small number of articles recently published in the journal that they believe will be particularly interesting to readers, or important in the respective research area. The aim is to provide a snapshot of some of the most exciting work published in the various research areas of the journal. So this was a nice surprise during the summer holidays and I would like to thank one more time all the co-authors for their hard work! Or course, I was honored to receive the invitation in the first place, so I knew we have to make it a pretty good one, and afterwards, I really felt that we made it, and I remember, I have never before received such an encouraging feedback from the reviewers.
And despite all the discussions about predator journals, well all I can say is think critically yourself! 😎
