Even though this is still unofficial from the Research Council of Finland's site (will be announched I guess in January 2025), we were lucky and funded in the FIRI 2024 roadmap call for national research infrastructures for the years 2025–2028. So I was part of the consortuim called The European Infrastructure of Screening Platforms for Chemical Biology
EU-OS Finland (EU-OS FI), which is a member of the European EU-OPENSCREEN ERIC
(EU-OS) research infrastructure consortium. And the consortium is led by Professor Päivi Tammela from the University of Helsinki. So I'm really gratefull to Päivi for coordinating this all. But at the same time, I'm super-excited for all the possibilities this may bring to the whole medicinal chemistry divison at the School of Pharmacy (UEF). The aim is to invest to a new mass spectrometer and re-new some rotavaps.
Here is the UEF news (link) along with the other lucky ones, but like I menationed, it will be officially announced by the Research council of Finland a bit later... 😎
